Essential Clothes for the Gym
The ideal tops are sweatshirt, t-shirt, hoodie, gloves and hats. For bottoms, socks, shoes, underwear, sweatshirts and shorts. These clothes are for men and women.
Uncomfortable clothing takes your focus away from exercise, so go with one you’re comfortable with. Stay away from fabrics which chafe or irritate your skin. Instead look for clothing that allows your body to move freely without being impeded.
The fabric must feel light and not skin tight. Do not focus too much on the size as your comfort is much more important. Regular work clothes tend to be tight since the focus is on fit, while gym clothes put emphasis on comfort. Don’t wear clothes that are too loose however, especially if you’re going to do aerobics or yoga.
Some workout clothes have antimicrobial properties that prevent body odor. This is quite popular now and has reduced the smell of sweat in gyms.

Bamboo and wool also have good wicking so you may want to consider those as well.
We focus a lot on the workouts that we take for granted the clothes we wear. And that is unfortunate since our clothes either make workouts more comfortable or difficult, and that is why you’ll want to wear tops and bottoms that feel good.
